Do you love to dance and do gymnastics? Do you love to keep fit and have fun?

Developed and directed by FISAF Sport Aerobics World Champion, Kylie Thomas, AEROkids is a sport aerobics and fitness program aimed at children and teenagers who love to perform through movement and dance.

Sport Aerobics, a combination of aerobic and gymnastic moves performed to high energetic music, is a fantastic way for children to improve their fitness, flexibility, coordination and self-confidence through participation in a healthy and fun sport.

Our Program Caters To All Levels

AEROkids caters for all ability levels from beginners to elite athletes and is a great avenue for all children to improve fundamental movement skills through a supportive team environment whilst developing lifelong healthy lifestyle patterns.

Class Descriptions

Mini AEROkids Age 5-6 Years

Suitable for children who love to express themselves through movement and dance.  We will explore Beginner Gymnastics moves and Beginner Aerobics dance sequences, combining them together in a fun and engaging routine throughout the course of the term.

Junior AEROkids Age 7-10 Years

Designed for children who have previous gymnastics / aerobics / dance experience.

This intermediate program explores Beginner Aerobics and Beginner Gymnastics through dance and movement whilst improving fitness, flexibility, coordination as well as physical and mental growth

AEROkids Age 11+ Years

Whilst exploring Beginner and Intermediate Gymnastics moves and Aerobic sequences, the aim of this class is to build self-confidence and esteem in each individual athlete as well as increase fitness, flexibility, strength and coordination. 

This class requires no previous gymnastics or aerobics experience

Junior AEROcomp Age 7 - 8 Years

Junior AEROcomp is designed for children who enjoy challenging themselves above and beyond. 

It is ideal for those wishing to pursue the competition side to Sport Aerobics and participate in our AEROcomp class.

This class requires some previous gymnastics / aerobics / dance experience

AEROcomp Age 9+ Years

AEROcomp is a fantastic way to take Sport Aerobics to the next level by developing a competition routine that can be performedon stage.

– Based on age and ability level, routines can be performed in groups, trios, pairs and individually at State and National level for various federations; School Aerobics / FISAF / FIG.

Beginner, intermediate and elite athletes are welcome!

** Athletes wishing to participate in AEROcomp are encouraged to also participate in the AEROkids (pre-comp) class for extra physical fitness and skill development training.
